VENOSAN® Size Chart

When it comes to choosing the correct size of Medical Compression Stockings (MCS), it’s important to measure each component of the legs and feet correctly. Proper fit is crucial to your compression garment working correctly and to ensure consistent comfort throughout the day. Depending on what product you go with, there are several different measurements to take into consideration.

Measuring Circumference

  1. Measure the circumference at the narrowest point above the ankle bone (cB).
  2. Measure the circumference at the widest part of your calf (cC).
  3. Measure the circumference at the narrowest point (about two finger widths) below the hollow of your knee (cD).
  4. Measure the circumference of your thigh, about five centimeters below the crotch (cG)

CIRCUMFERENCE MEASUREMENTS (CM)

SMALL MEDIUM LARGE X-LARGE
cB Ankle 20-23 23-26 26-29 29-31
cC Mid-calf 29-39 33-42 36-45 39-47
cD Below

28-38 32-41 35-44 38-46
cG Thigh 48-63 54-67 58-72 63-74

Measuring Length

  1. For below-knee stockings (AD), measure the length from the bottom edge of the heel to the narrowest point about two finger widths below the hollow of the knee (lD).
  2. For thigh length stockings (AG), measure the length from the bottom edge of the heel to the end of the thigh, about five centimeters below the crotch (lG).
  3. For tights (AT) or thigh length stockings with belt (AGG & AGH), measure the full crotch length (lK).
  4. Now use the body size chart to determine the correct size and length of the product you want.
